A beautiful melody for this first week of February:

No? Something more uptempo perhaps. This youngster Kristyn Harris is a hoot. If her broken song of love here doesn't brighten your February day you just ain't tryin.'
(btw She's got a line she uses while tuning in between songs that Jerry would have liked: "Tunin' between songs is like airplane maintenance- it's worth the wait."

Oh yeah--that line about tuning is killer! Leo Kottke would agree as well.

Certainly not speaking for PM Tell but I'd say I'm prob guilty as charged. Well, a little maybe, not a lot I'd hope.

But the Airplane? Nah. Jorma and Jack were quite a tandem, a power duo if there ever was one. But they were like a basketball team with two shooting guards and no playmaker. A football team with two world class wide receivers but no quarterback to deliver the ball. All the boxes never got checked, just some. They coulda used a Robert Hunter for one. "We should be together?" Two vocalists? Their roster was never properly constructed.

Reade,
Not one to cast stones since I listen to a lot of classical and turn the other cheek
type stuff.
Airplane worked, Starship not so much, Hot Tuna !
